Essentials of Standard Duty Towing & Recovery – This course focuses on the essential criteria necessary for all standard duty operators operating equipment under 26,000 GVWR. Emphases are on safety, conduct & appearance, truck inspection & maintenance, equipment knowledge, ratings & tow capacities, dollies, basic recovery, calculating resistance, winches & wire ropes, towing & hookup techniques, and scene incident management. This training reflects industry standards, federal, state, and local laws, manufactures guidelines, and company policy.
